    URBAN INFILL PLANNING GROUP MINUTES:
  Minutes of meeting 		SEPT. 7, 2001

The Miami River Commission Urban Infill Subcommittee met Friday, September 10, 2001, 1 pm, Miami Riverside Center, 444 SW 2nd Ave., 3rd floor conference room.  Mr. Jim Murley chaired the meeting.  The attendance sheet is enclosed.

 

     The Urban Infill Subcommittee reviewed and approved the agenda and all exhibits for the Wednesday, September 12 Miami River Corridor Plan “brainstorming session”.  Brett Bibeau stated he had notified an additional 30 people about the September 12 meeting, including the entire list provided by Dianne Johnson, all Miami River NET and Team Metro Administrators, and all attendees of previous Urban Infill public meetings.

     The City of Miami Law Department, City of Miami Risk Management and the Miami River Commission have signed the City/MRC MOU.  The City Planning Department had requested an “internal review” on September 6 and 7, prior to forwarding the MOU to the City Manager’s office for his signature.  Unfortunately, Clark Turner stated the “internal review” has been delayed, and he hopes to meet with the Ana-Gelambert, Planning Director, either later on September 7, or early in the week of September 10.
